RAMASA

Lake House

A place where every room opens to the lake-and somehow, to yourself. At Ramasa Lake House, mornings don’t begin with alarms, but with the gentle arrival of sunlight over the water and the quiet melody of birds who clearly have nowhere urgent to be. It’s the kind of place where time softens, thoughts slow down, and you finally hear yourself think.Whether you come here to read, write, reflect, research-or simply exist without a checklist—this space holds it all. Bring your family, bring your solitude, or bring the version of you that city life has been quietly exhausting. Located close to scenic treks and surrounded by the best of mountain air, our home offers what the city never can-clarity. Crisp weather, uninterrupted lake and mountain views, and sunsets that don’t ask for your attention… but always receive it. And then there’s chai. Not just a cup, but a pause. The kind that loosens the grip of overthinking and reminds you that not everything needs to be rushed, solved, or optimized. Because let’s be honest—the city is loud, demanding, and constantly convincing you that you’re running out of time. Here, you’ll realize… you’re not. This is not just a stay.
It’s a gentle return—to quiet, to nature, and to yourself.

June State is our offering in return. We could not keep this feeling to ourselves. We had to share it — with every tired traveller, every lost city-dweller, every NRI carrying Uttarakhand in their chest without knowing its name, every seeker on their way to Kainchi Dham who needs a place to breathe before they arrive. Bhimtal is not Nainital. It doesn't hustle. It doesn't perform.  Ramasa Lake house was constructed with that precise philosophy in mind. It simply existing, beautifully, at its own leisurely pace. Come just the way you are. Leave as the person you were meant to be. Or simply depart after getting plenty of rest. Both are legitimate.
